A luxury gift box combining preserved roses with personalised 'Mum' foil balloons — delivered as a doorstep surprise on Mother's Day morning.
Two adult siblings jointly ordered a Mother's Day gift for their mum, who lives alone in Blackrock. They wanted something that would arrive as a complete surprise — she wouldn't be expecting anything more than a card — and that would feel genuinely luxurious. They had a budget of around €80 and wanted it delivered to her door on Mother's Day morning, before she left to visit family. One of them had received a rose balloon box as a birthday gift and knew exactly what she wanted to replicate for their mum.
We created one of our signature rose balloon boxes — a premium kraft gift box containing seven blush pink preserved roses, arranged in a foam base with tissue paper. Rising above the roses were three custom 'Mum' foil balloons in gold and pink, tied with satin ribbon in matching tones. We added a handwritten card with the personalised message provided by the siblings and sealed the box with a coordinating ribbon bow. The arrangement was photographed before boxing for quality assurance and delivered to the Blackrock address at 9:30am as requested.
The siblings received a voice note from their mum shortly after delivery — she was in tears. She described it as 'the most beautiful thing' she had ever received and immediately sent photos to her sisters. She later told us she had kept the preserved roses on her mantelpiece for months. The two siblings have since become repeat customers — one ordering a Valentine's arrangement and both returning the following Mother's Day.
